Yeah, I have not updated in a while. Classes started...SCARY. Hinman is still...different...lol. My residents seem nice. I like being closer to my friends as well as classes. I am still working at NY and Co...yeah, hangs head in shame. I am actively seeking out a resident director job somewhere...at this point anywhere, but bonus points for warmth...PLEASE HELP lol.

Well, I am back as an RA. It feels different being in Hinman...not bad, just different. Everyone seems nice.
Training was amusing. The speaker was really good but for some reason we all went to see Electra. I thought it was going to be the worst movie ever but it was ok. We also had some sort of scavenger hunt thing that was actually alot of fun as it allowed me to meet some people.
Other than that, nothing much going on. It is very very cold. And at the moment my head aches.

Wow. Just wow. I was starting to think work was...ok. But, um, no. I can't believe inventory. I am not going to get into it because it will just make me mad all over again...but really, wow. At least now I know I am not the only one who feels this way...
I got my parking permit today...now I just have to remember not to get stuck in turning lanes on campus...I went around TWICE today...*shakes head.*
I stopped by Wendy's after work and ran into the HS lunch crowd. It reminded me why I am happy to be 22 and not sixteen. Although I wish I had know this at that age lol.
I talked to Sue the other day...yay! She inspired me to send out some resumes and see what happens.
I still have to pack but at least the decorations are down and ready to go. I also have off tomorrow and nothing to do on Sat. until it is time to pick Joe up at 4:40. Speaking of Joe...I get to see him in two days...YAY!!!!
P.S. getting up at 3:45 a.m. is not fun...I do not recommend it.

So I went to the laudromat today. And guess what happened? A middle-aged guy in a wheelchair actually started talking to me about how "hot" I am and what a great ass I have. Then he grabbed it! It is sad that females can't EVER let their guard down.
Anyway, I got alot of my laundry done although I still have some left. I may wait until I get back to school to do it though. Can you blame me?
I started the organizing part of my packing. Yay!
Talked to Joe today...he is not anxious to get back to the snow...can't say I blame him. |

Ok, so my day improved despite its shaky beginning. I swear there is a Higher Power that always knows when I have reached my ABSOLUTE last straw. Sometimes, I think it would just be easier to not give a darn about others, but then when I reach that moment something nice happens. And that is exactly what happened today. Nothing major, but just little kindnesses by a few different people. It makes up for days when there does not seem to be a nice person in sight!
If I stay at Ny and Co, I am going to ask for a raise in FEB. since it will be 6 months. Can you believe I have worked that long already? I did the pocketbook wall today and I think I did a good job. I was pleased as it was quite the physical work out building that wall! I also got two shirts, a pair of pants and a hat for 53 dollars. I love my discount. Not to mention the shirts were buy one get one free! Nice. I was also able to make the 5:20 bus so I got home earlier than expected. Why the bus you ask? I did not drive as there were mounds of snow everywhere. Ah well. Cali will come soon enough.
Lesson of the day: A large coffee leaves Julia feeling weak and jittery after a few hours. Yuck. |

I still have not cleaned a blessed thing! I wasted my life online and on the phone. Talking to Joe was fun, but made me miss him more darn it. I am in a sappy mood. I sent a bunch of people I have not seen/talked to in awhile emails. I am so not looking forward to this snowstorm that is supposed to hit. Especially since I am working tomorrow. GRRR to snow. I want warmth and sun. I don't want ice or crappy slush.
People are...interesting lol. Myself included.
I am still torn over this job thing. I don't want to disappoint anyone, but I don't want to stay either. There I typed it. Why can't I just SAY it?
Robert called the other day asking for advice. I enjoy feeling useful so thanks Robert! =)
I wish I could hold my niece right now. I also wish I had a maid. And a cook.
The apartment reeks of food...it is not a BAD smell, but it is def. strong lol.
I can't believe I updated this three times in the same day. Someone (preferably on a white horse haha) needs to come to Bing Land and rescue me from the snow. We don't even have to go to CAlI. I will go anywhere warm lol. Just get me back in time for RA training lol!
